During last winter we heard them twice. These must be quite brave to be in the neighborhood in the daylight.Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17469878511196407233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6906122677385092694.post-81984130625345357262009-10-26T14:01:17.403-07:002009-10-26T14:01:17.403-07:00We used to live in Orange County, near Trabuco Can...We used to live in Orange County, near Trabuco Canyon, and you could hear them in the streets regularly. I never saw them, though. This morning, it was just so odd because they didn't seem the least bit afraid of me, more annoyed than anything. We have a lot of rabbits and ground squirrels, so I think they were hunting for breakfast. You can see they're pretty well-fed.Teresa Bitlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10974288031631297478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6906122677385092694.post-4709506981300481362009-10-26T10:12:05.495-07:002009-10-26T10:12:05.495-07:00Great catch! I heard that in the spring time they are hungrier because they might have babies to feed.Feliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03677189848058313205noreply@blogger.com
