I snapped this photo about a week and a half ago, the afternoon the big storm moved in. I had decided to pick up my daughter at the bus stop because the wind was blowing so hard and happened the have my camera with me. I didn't realize it, but a tornado watch had just gone into effect for Queen Creek. We didn't actually get one, but two touched down in North Phoenix, around Cave Creek.

Dust Storm

Those of you who live in the East Valley seem to get a lot more significant weather than we who are in Central Phoenix. It seems so strange to have dust storms this time of year, doesn't it?
